Hi everyone.
I'm new here, i just bought a 2004 Berlingo Multispace Desire 1.6 petrol.
I've been showing it some love trying to service as much of it as possible as it was sluggish and numb when i got it (new sparkplugs and filters and a throttle cable adjustment have perked it up a bit) but one of the weird things i've noticed is this intermittant ticking!
If i pull over with the engine running i sometimes hear a repeated ticking noise like a machine gun and it seems to be loudest near the drivers wing like its something inside there!
Its a "tappety" noise but its very loud.
After 2 or 3 minutes it stops and it doesn't always do it but when it does its a bit worrying as i really wouldn't have thought whatever it is should be that loud and fast.
Any ideas?
