[attachment=373]Another problem that needs sorting....I need to replace my c/l fob, actually I only need to replace the bit with the rubber/silicon buttons (the PCB works fine). I have not seen mine on E-bay and wonder if I will have to visit my local Citroen dealer. ('97 600 diesel van) Photo attached..

Good question, I've no idea. There's no Citroen logo anywhere, so may be aftermarket. It's the only key/fob that I have for the van, just my luck. Can any aftermarket remote be made to work? (I've only tinkered with OLD cars and have never had to deal with remote systems...I have seen that the fuel solenoid has been 'modded' so that the immobilser doesn't work...) I'll have to investigate further, cos only one key/fob is scary!
Follow-up query, would the '97 600 Berlingo van have come with remote locking etc as standard? Or would it have been key operated and an aftermarket system fitted?

Not sure if any other fob could be made to work.
Don't worry about the one key, I only got one key with my van, that was nearly 5 years and 70k miles ago!
