INTERIOR LIGHT AND LED IN DOOR LOCK BUTTON PROBLEM

Hi,

We have a fleet of Berlingo First vans. one by one they are failing with the following problems.

1) The interior lights stopped coming on and going off when the vehicle is unlocked/locked using the remote control key.
The lights do work when they manually switched on at the lamp.

2) The red LED indicator in the "door lock" button on the centre console does not come on when the button is pressed or the self locking option is activated and the vans are driven.

3) The same red LED has stopped flashing when the vans are locked using the remote control key.


Anybody had the same problem?

Thats a very odd one but it does sound BSI related, have you changed the batteries or disconnected them for any reason?

Do a search for BSI reset and follow the procedure, its very easy and your first thing to do

Hi,

Yeah have carried out the reset a couple of times to to avail.  I's strange that more than one of them has developed this fault. Am wondering if it is a fuse problem or if it something more serious

Could be but got 3 out of 4 vans at this branch with same problem
