Hi
I had to brake hard to avoid a collision and immediately my 2013 Multispace xtr ground to a halt. I assumed that some sort of fuel cut off switch had engaged but no such luck! The local Citroen dealer found timing jumped and out by three teeth and timing pinion broken??? The Timing Belt, Pinion and Motor kit were replaced ( cost £728 - £450 of which was Labour costs!!) Has anyone else had this problem?
As I avoided a collision the Insurance company are not interested.......I may have been better off to have been slower on the brakes and collided with the buffoon who failed to look!
All suggestions?thoughts how I may convince the Insurance Company otherwise ?
Thanks for reading this,
Paul
