PHi all,
I have a diesel leak from the Lucas pump on my "Y" plate van.
It's coming from the front from behind a 25 MM approx black rubber cover held on by a tie wrap.
Only leaks occasionly.
Advice please hope it's not expensive love my van but it's starting to cost a few quid.

From the pic it seems leek is coming from stop solenoid.
I don't know if that stop solenoid is codded to ecu.
If yes than when you replace it you need to program it form Lexia.
How many wires is coming from solenoid?
But again from pic there is "rubber" seal in the middle. Maybe that is
failed and you have to replace only that.
First you have to remove it from pump than see what is causing the leak.
Best regards,
brajomobil

Please note that that seal is of a special rubber compound, probably Nitrile, and can't be replaced by an ordinary black rubber O-ring. (Well, you can, but not for long as the high pressure, heat and chemicals will soon destroy it. )
