Well thats been an adventurous weekend while the weather was being kind to us that tinker outside on the drive, Saturday i fitted the drivers side front drop link rod, today we got home from car booting at 1.00 a quick snack was had, then at 2.15 i dropped the engine oil changed the oil filter, whipped out the diesel filter and replaced, also replaced the air filter, then filled up with engine oil turned the key hey presto up it roared then stopped, turned over a few times up it roared again bingo we are away once again, put tools away, sat at table having pie veg and roast spuds at 4.00.

Well i like to think so Andre, yes the drop link, i'm afraid the four n half inch angle grinder was a big help, little tricky getting it in on the top stud but i cut through the stud end then turned the stud half way round cut through the same again, gentle persuasion with hammer and small chisel and bingo new one on half hour job done.

Can't remember exactly how I got my drop link off but I'm sure there was a good measure of brute force and ignorance thrown in!

The drop link should come off easy, but you have to jack up both sides to take the load off the anti roll bar. If you only jack up the one side it might not go on flush or cross thread the screw.

The old one should come off without having to cut it, but you either need a second smaller spanner at the back behind the rubber cover or it has an allen key on the end of the thread to stop it spinning.
