We had been having clear but cool. -15 yesterday but the Berli fired right off. Overnight it has warmed up to -7 and we have 10cm of snow on the ground now.

I've just been out on a essentials and comfort food run, it currently -6c and was a lot colder overnight here in the South Wales valleys the Berlingo started on the button but took a age before any heat came through the heater into the cabin, the Berlingo was well behaved the 6 miles or so each way with no dramas .
The very dry snow wasn't too difficult to navigate but when there was a sudden gust it was like a film effect going from full vision to next to none in a matter of seconds.
I got home unpacked the supplies then sat down to watch TV and ironically it came on on the history channel showing ice road truckers ! I've just turned over to Nat Geo and they are showing Antarctica, are they having a laugh or what !
Blizzard happening right now in Plymouth and expecting more tonight,weather has been getting worse all day ,i took the dog out for a walk this morning and the cold wind on my face was painful,im used to being in the wind as i ride a motorcycle but this was "painful." Now ive lit up the woodburner and have got the central heating on as well. Lovely.!!
