Hi I've got a 2001 1.9 berlingo when I try to start the  berlingo the heater light does not come on and it will not start can anyone help me with this please thanks phil

When you say it does not start does it mean the engine does not turn over, or it is turning over but does not fire?

 The (heater) glow plugs are controlled by a relay which sits on the nearside inner bulkhead just behind the n/side headlight.
These sometimes gave problems with a bad earth. Check to see if the relay clicks when switching on ignition.

Is there 12 volts at the glow plug terminals ?

when the ignition is switched on the plugs should come on for about twenty seconds or so the after it starts they stay on for about the same then go off. The voltage must be checked in that time window.

You should check for 12 volts at the relay, if not the fuse no 22 (20 amp) in the engine fuse box feeds it
