The rear window isn't completely clearing now, only doing 3 lines...it does eventually clear but when there is a frost on the screen and you put the heating element on, only 3 lines clear...any way for to to check it is fully plumbed in and connected? If it isn't, anything I can do to make sure it is fully connected?
Thanks.

That effect was a sign that the heater elements in /on the rear window have been damaged. Wiping with a dirty cloth etc
The breaks in them could be repaired with a metallic paint but its been a long time since I repaired one and don't know if the paint is available now. the paint I had has set in the bottle. It was not easy sometimes to find the break in the wire element.
Nowadays the elements might be embedded into the glass , then its all a load of bull !

Ta, was hoping it wasn't that...wonder how much a new screen would cost...has the split boot so tailgate can list or just the window...I'll do some googling.
