In case you are new and wondering why it doesn't have a display, it actually uses the display on top of the dash which is part of the entire notification system like doors opening, radio / cd tracks, clock, etc... Does this need to be programmed/matched to the car like the rd4 ?

I honestly don't know, it came out of a 2002 Red Berlingo and if there is a way to check I would gladly do it if you can tell me how. I don't see a way of entering security code and when the battery was disconnected/reconnected it never asked for anything. I can only assume it doesn't unless this is something that needs to be that on the car that is going to.
