First Berlingo owner here!

Picked up this today. My Mond... I mean X-Type broke down on one of the busiest roundabouts in town last week so was looking for a temporary car but decided to keep this and sell the jag once I've fixed it. Dingo here is an 05 plate 2.0hdi with 180,000 on the clock with an 11 month mot. Gear change is very sloppy but i understand this can be rectified with a new linkage kit. Oh and the radio doesn't work but otherwise i think its brilliant.[Image: 6ff74c422033b9a4f7ce2bde0cb4eb80.jpg][Image: 30f86be6a090cfc28380b270255b0358.jpg][Image: c91a54463487b27dfcd9e98aa7039915.jpg][Image: f78a85df2a81c6fef58007410487dc45.jpg][Image: c815891f282a08bec5f5c1837bf5e49e.jpg]

Hi Coakers welcome to the forum nice looking motor you got there. Plenty of help on here about gear linkage and radio could be an easy fix. They are coded to the chassis so if you get a straight swap get the vendor to code it to your chassis or find someone with the lexia software to do it for you.
Kokain is selling a cd radio that looks like yours on the forum this week.
Are we there yet????? Huh

Sorry for the belated replies and thanks for tge warm welcome and info. I also own a mk2 golf gti 16v which is having a nut-and-bolt rebuild. The full thread about that xan be found here http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/1...ild?page=1[Image: ffffec905ad31c6b9219ff934b0588c1.jpg][Image: 54da9802fd4bd216b96c77d8f67d61e5.jpg][Image: 7ba5269e969ea768ac1d52e907b8313c.jpg][Image: ec37494e160a32c36641bf55f735bde7.jpg]

I've done some work to dingo in the last couple of days. Firstly by taking it for a good run. Waited till it was nearly empty. Filled up with super diesel and stp injection cleaner and off we went to North Wales. 120 miles that day and only a quarter tank of juice used.

So yesterday I treated Dingo to an oil/filter and air filter change which was very overdue.

I also have notices that my 12v aux system doesnt work which is a big gripe since I cant really use my sat nav for extended periods. That'll be another fun fault finding exercise.[Image: a7349f7e70f7e504a22c5522a513e28e.jpg][Image: b84cc22937966165d8108be08b1d5686.jpg][Image: 409c9e8dfa86692653ee8eb8b4a16b78.jpg][Image: aa060f3b8259144a52f60f44197650f4.jpg]
