I then began de-rusting the top mounts, the hub and the caliper carrier. I used a long flat head screw driver to pry the old bearings out (I'm getting tired of saying bearing).

Well I've got both springs assembled and one is on the car. 2 spring compressors simply arent enough for this so just an important note. I dont have any pictures of the one on the car yet. I was working in the rain which is oh so fun. Whats worse is i snapped the abs sensor bolt. I'll get a pic of that tomorrow. Wounded.[Image: 27b96fa688917369bbc872b0bc395b49.jpg][Image: 45bb9449bf545eb30a367fcf2c2fb203.jpg][Image: 7d4f13922218d703cbdf37f9f319090f.jpg]

All on and mobile again. Definite ride height difference as you can tell. Definitely a smoother ride and absorbs pot holes, bumps much more effectively. I tightened the suspension top mount bolts up after a short drive. There is a slight knocking which i have to investigate but its coming from low down i believe.

Oh and I've let the kids sticker bomb a wing. I'll have to clear coat it to lock it in [Image: f08e590a36283ab076f9a6e2d436c474.jpg][Image: 7a92800b49da0faf94c7c26a50ffbaeb.jpg][Image: c04cc5884004e7927f71375eb80f2d0b.jpg]

There is a Berlingo on this picture somewhere, this was on a run out around Harrock Hill Windmill. A fire destroyed it in 1880 and it was left derelict ever since. A decent walk.[Image: 79cd1cb79b269e3776209c442128c48c.jpg]

And tuther night i went on a 10k run at ainsdale beach. There is a nasty clonk whenever I come off a speed bump to quick. I'm going to check my hub pinch bolts and see if they are tightened up ok. I've also noticed a rattle from my D/S track rod end so that needs to be investigated before i get the tracking done.

But while parts were on the way and I thought I'd drive to the peak district at 3:30 to see the sunrise from the top of Kinder Scout (as you do). Well I didnt make the sunrise (missed it by around half an hour. Did get some good snaps though. My instagram is @philmk2 if anyone wants to see my berlingo (mis)adventures.

Back to some actual work then. I was sick of looking at the rottern steelies. But I do want to keep them so a home brew refurb is on the cards, theres a few good vids on t'internet but chrisfix is one of the best so I followed his method and it worked a treat.

Sanded back using a wire wheel attatchment on the angle grinder, wiped down using meths, high build primer and gloss black. Sorted

Just need to do the other 3 corners now. Eeesh[Image: 63bcf6a7602b8fedd6ab5885a662425d.jpg]

This will no doubt divide opinion but I finished off the sticker bombed wing. Locked in with a UV resistant clearcoat. Spot the mk2 golf.[Image: 0ae7b5bf46b788fd98ffbf526d5911e0.jpg]

Don't forget the spare Big Grin If you get a puncture it will let the side down
So where does this bit go then ?
