#1
First of all back handle goes and cannot operate from outside and now side loading door handle just stops engaging to unlock.....there's a big , metal security screen separating cab from back of van area so cant open it at all of from inside...any ideas guys?...plus is this all an MOT fail as its due soon....feel pretty fed up atm.

The back door handle rod was known for slipping when the handle was worked from the outside.
There was /is a simple little metal catch that allowed the operating rod to slip through it and it wouldn't operate the latch,

its an easy fix if you can get into it to work from the inside Exclamation

Don't know about your side doors

What about drilling hole through the metal bulkhead and poking the opening inner handle with a rod ?

When you open the rear right door there’s a little rubber grommet near the latch, look in there with a torch you’ll see what’s happening. I managed to get a small nut, think it was 6mm in there & threaded it onto the rod, works a treat

i think when i looked at the culprit it was a blue, plastic part that had snapped...no clue what it is or how to get replacement

well the blue securing like washer was snapped and the back handle rod just moved freely back and forth....managed to get a think cable tie through the needed area and pulled very tight....problem solved and now handle operates from the outside

This is the back door problem. Side handle i took off and found its the spindle inside the sealed area of handle that has snapped so new one being delivered. Only £12 new so not too bad.
