Real World fuel economy - MPG

Hi,

What real world MPG can I expect from a Berlingo2 1.6HDi 90? 

I'm sure there is a thread for this but I can't find it!

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

In the real world about 37 to 57, depends on your right foot,

Something I was considering asking and this thread popped up so maybe OK to ask here. My low fuel light came on yesterday which is apparently 4/5 litres left in the tank so about 40 miles with urban and a little motorway.

But the display reads 80 miles before it runs out.

Is one correct or both incorrect?

On my previous M59 1.6 HDi,I found the fuel light pessimistic.I drove 50 miles before filling & it only took 45 litres.I haven't tried it on my B9 yet but the fuel guage tends to read lower than it is below half tank.HTH.

I base correct on the " one " that doesn't make me run out of fuel ...... in your case it would be the warning light

... unless of course you want to do the necessary scientific experiment .... running to nil fuel is so last century so my grandaughter tells me.
