I can only get the LH rev light working.
There is a bulb in the RH, but it gets no power.
I see Haynes only shows wiring for the LH light from the ECU, so it makes me wonder if only the LH works.

Could it be you have fog light on one side and reversing light on the other. I know M59 models had two reversing lights but not sure on the early M49 berlingos.
Are we there yet?????

Don't believe what Haynes says about wiring for the berlingos,
Most of the wiring diagrams are a "Typical Wiring" diagrams .
your reversing lights should be both on. At least on mine they are. The bulb holder and connector can give trouble sometimes
The early models had a connecting block for each side of the rear lights . These sit behind the front seats under a metal plate which is held in with two screws. They are /were prone to corrosion as they sit in the bottom sills
