Hi, I managed to dislodge this piece of trim (It didn't come off completely) and although I pushed it back on, it doesn't feel particularly secure. I have some spare trim clips in case some are damaged and I want to secure it on properly. Is there a knack to doing this? Should I use any sort of adhesive or tape in addition to the clips? I'd be grateful for any advice, thanks.
Let me guess - you caught it with the jack?
I did something similar, and with a few firm blows with the palm of the hand while pushing it with my knee it snapped back into place.
Maybe you've tried that already?

No managed to do it by catching it with my foot, doh!
Maybe I just need to thump it a bit harder. I was thinking I'd take it off, replace any damaged clips then push it back on. I just didn't want to do it before checking whether anyone knew of something to watch out for.
