M59 headlamp adjustment query

My M59 (presume the M49 is the same) has one main beam facing much too far right.
I can adjust it's beam up and down easily enough, but nowhere can I find an adjustment for side to side movement.

Any tips or ideas? I'm new to this model and still learning.

Well, I've now had a thorough inspection with a worklight, and can't see and side-to-side adjustment. If I have to, I will take the whole light out (bumper off jobbie I suspect) so that I'll know for the future.

Are you sure the bulb is seated properly with retaining clips fully in place ?

Yes - checked that. Awkward to get at, so I will recheck everything when I get the light unit out. The vertical adjustment is fine.

But surely every headlamp should have some provision for horizontal adjustment? Other cars I've owned have all got it.
