As cancunia says waxstat or you may find a small pipe split from the solenoid this is just for the fast idle when cold where the waxstat advances the pump via a cable.
I bet many on a split pipe, seen it many times

Now you are asking the wax-stat will be from the cooling jacket somewhere to the pump IF its cable type. The pipework and solenoids for the fast idle could be anywhere they are different for different years. In not even sure your fast idle is controlled by a wax-stat it may be done via the ecu via sensors and vacuum pipes.
What im saying is there is no way i can help you over the internet - maybe find a friendly mechanic to have a quick look.

Maybe the Haynes manual will have that info.

Just follow the cable back from the injector pump, there are two cables on the pump, one is throttle ( very long and obvious ) one is short which is the one you will need to change.. From memory it is a 24mm spanner , there will be a loss of coolant but should only be a small amount so just top up the expansion tank when needed.
