[Warning Light] 130 km/h engine fault warning light
#1
Hello. I don't know how to call it. This is the third time that happened to me. I have a 2011 Berlingo Multispace.
As soon as I get to 130 km/h I feel a small/short shock and the yellow warning engine light come on board with a note "Engine Fault".
Mechanics couldn't find anything wrong. Reset the system, yellow light gone. Two months later got to 130 kilometers per hour and again: small shock, and yellow light warning engine problems. car drive normal. Went to the garage and again nothing. Reset, yellow light gone. All seems perfect if I don't reach 130 km/h. Even after the light come on, the car drives perfect up to 130-140 km/h over 140 red light triangle come but go away if I slow down under 130 km/h
I need help. Thank you.

It is quite funny, but I got this once in my 2011 PUG Partner Tepee. It came to be that at that time, It was a my old cell phone, an old samsung galaxy, that managed to interfere with the electric lines on the car, deactivating all abs sensors while driving, when it was connected and charging from the 12V socket. This in turn activated limp mode on the car while driving at speed. I confirmed this by doing several runs up and down a stretch of motorway near my house...Since I have always had Lexia I could reset the bsi and remove limp mode myself. For good statistics I let it happen 3 times. I threw the cell phone away, never connected it in the car again, and it never happened again.
