B9 2009 Berlingo PDC with aftermarket radio
#1
Hi Guys,

I have been looking thru a lot of posts on this forum to find information about aftermarket radios that work with the standard PDC.
To give you some history, I had the standard radio with the extra BT module by Continental fitted and that one died after about 3 years of use.
Since I never had a good feeling with the module (+360 euro at the time) I decided to replace it by a Parrot BT carkit the MKi 9100, and guess what that died 6 months after warranty.
Now I have driven the car for some time without BT and it really bothers me since I drive around 2h to and from work I really would like to have a BT carkit with audio streaming.
My eyes quickly fell on double DIN radios with BT and DAB+ (stuff i like), but then the next problem comes and this is where you guys might know a work around for.
I want to install the Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB Into my Lingo, stalk controls are available for the B9 from Connects2 but I cant find a module that would work with the PDC on my Berlingo.
And even if I found one how does it work with the radio.
Does anyone here have experience with PDC and aftermarket radios ?

I would love to hear from you guys !

Greetings from Belgium !

Hello, this is my first post. Ask Connects2 through the Support Center if the CTSCT008 adapter fits your radio, this unit keep steering wheel controls and the PDC. The support of Connects2 is very quick to respond.

I'm pretty sure connects2 make a adapter that allows the PDC to work .

I´m trying to retrofit PDC to factory state, bought sensors and ECU to do it, have a Sony XAV-AX100 installed with Connects2 interface wiring harness and recently noticed that PSA does have a Central Unit part # 1609675180 for Sony,  1609675580 for Pioneer (INTERFACE FOR STEERING WHEEL CONTROL (ICSV) LEVEL 2 CENTRAL UNIT) and a matching harness part # 1609675180 for Sony and 1609675580 for Pioneer (INTERFACE FOR STEERING WHEEL CONTROL (ICSV) LEVEL 2 LEAD HARNESS FOR PIONEER AUDIO SYSTEM) same functions like the Connects2, but obviously more expensive. The important thing is that in the installation manual of this PSA unit, if you have PDC factory installed,  PSA recomend using Diagbox to redirect  PDC warning audible signal to the switch module under the steering wheel, not by the speakers. You can find more information in servicebox in the multimedia accesories menu.
