Coppaslip on brakes

Hiya all...

 The front brakes have started squealing so I thought I would take a look tonight..

  Coppa slip all over the bloody shop, most disturbing though was the rubber boot that protects the calliper piston.. Coppaslip has made the boot go like a limp condom and someone has caked the piston in the stuff.. Why do people use so much of it ? I used to use it on the metal to metal parts until I read an engineering report on the effects of Coppaslip on brake components / seals / rubber boots... I now use Brake grease / Ceramic grease..

 I now have to clean all the coppacrap out and replace the boots... Anyone know the best place to get the boots from ?

They use so much because they dont know what they are doing - simples

You'll find the seals on ebay, just search for " front caliper seals berlingo "

If the piston is corroded or has pitting you can get a kit with a new piston.
