[Filters & Oil] Haynes manuals and oil changes
#1
Hi Peeps.
I've had a look through the threads, but....
I recently bought a B9 van (built 2017) and as usual, I like to get a Haynes for reference.
(B9 Enterprise 850 100 BlueHDi)
Haynes do the Mk 2, B9 to 2016, but what are the differences between the '16 and current production vehicles ?
Would the Haynes 'til 2016 cover most items ?
The van's under warranty, but there is NO WAY 20K is it's first oil change.
Especially as it's mine......
Any info greatly appreciated.

Looks like you've given the answer to your own query.

If you're unhappy with 20k as an oil change interval - and I agree with you, it needs to be more often especially if your van does short trips - why not change oil and filter more frequently?

Oil changes are insurance. Neglect insurance and you will eventually pay a heavy price.

Hi Gravity
Thanks for the reply
How relevant the >2016 Haynes book is in relation to the 2017 model I have.
Do you know what the differences between the years are ?
Cheers

I have the "Owners Workshop Manual" Haynes, Citroen Berlingo & Peugeot Partner Jun 2008 to 2016 ( 08 to 16 reg ) Diesel.

In the chapter 4 Part B are only informations about the older eolys "Fuel additive system" which was build in the cars with EURO 5. There are no information about the newer AdBlue system which came with EURO 6 and is installed in my car.

Further one it is a petty that a lot of wiring schematics are missing.

Best Regards Rolf

Thanks rolf50
That's perfect, I won't be messing with the AdBlue unit anyway.
The Haynes is great for Guys like me who can turn a spanner but like to reference anyway.
Much appreciated, I'll order one up.
