Hi everyone, bit of an introduction, we have been caravaners for more years than I’d like to count, we currently have a seasonal pitch near Weston Super Mare were we spend most weekends, but my dream has always been a Motorhome, the thought of touring places like Cornwall or Devon spending as much or as little time as suits at each place always comes close to the top of my holiday list but unfortunately I’m not a rich man and it looks like a lottery win is not going to happen anytime soon. I came across the Micro Camper and did a little poking around on the net to see what it was all about and decided this could be for us, then thoughts of what to kept me awake at nights, do I buy one complete or a Berlingo and boot jump or just a Berlingo and do the conversion myself, then I came across a Berlingo van which had been converted by Wheelhome in first class condition a couple of hundred miles away, so I bought it. Later this afternoon train ticket in hand my Berlingo micro camper journey starts when I travel north to collect it, getting excited now, first weekend away booked, been to have a look at a Kampa tailgater awning ( but can’t decide if it will fit) and the best thing of all my other half is all for it, so hopefully its win win all the way.
