No start
Guys my 2007 1.6 berlingo stop with me yesterday, it’s turning over ok had it running with easy start! Plugged it into a diagnostic machine fault that came up was (p1728 engine torque engine torque sent on the can incorrect)
Any ideas folks.
Not sure mate, but would seem the ECU is keeping the fuel off to the engine due to a system error. I'd say check that all of the harness plugs on the engine, fusebox and any modules and sensors (ECU etc) are clean, and connected properly. You may have an ECU or sensor fault, but connected items such as plugs and modules should be checked first when a CAN error occurs. You could also try disconnecting the battery for 10 mins and see if the fault clears.

If none of this helps, you need a diagnostic from someone with Lexia 3 software who knows what they are looking for. Generic P code scanners won't help identify a CAN system error. Often the codes they pull up cause more confusion if the scanner or diagnostic tool is not dedicated to the particular brand of car.
