Radio control switch
#1
Hi,
My steering column control switch on my 2002 Citroen berlingo multispace 1.6 16v is playing up as I turn the volume up on the radio the volume automatically turns its self down and I don't have a clue what is going on?
Does anyone know what it might be .

I had that except mine would sometimes go right up to full volume instead!

Tried cleaning the contacts but in the end had to swap in a new radio stalk to fix it.

Where did you buy your new radio stalk from and was it easy to fit?

If you take the shroud off the steering column the radio controls stalk comes out of the comms unit quite easy. Have a look on ebay or the like for a replacement or if you have a breakers nearby pay them a visit. I think the stalk is used in a lot of citroens of that vintage so you aint just looking at berlingos.
Are we there yet????? Huh

From what I remember you press part of it and it should slide out but it was ages ago I did it. Have a look at this and you will see how it located and it may help. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Citro...SwPcVVm6sJ
