Heater control panel
#1
Has anyone had this before?
Switching the fan speed from level 4 to level 3 there was quiet a lot of resistance until it finally gave in and went. Now the fan does`nt work on 4 and is full wack on level 3,2,1 and 0.
The switch still doesnt feel right, as if something inside is snapped/slipped. Had a look on ebay at the back of some used units and it looks like a sealed unit, apart from the heat control (left) and the output selector (right).
Ive already changed the Resistor a few months ago to a new item so cant be that.
Any experience with this please reply....

Cheers

You've obviously zeroed in on the cause of your problem - the switch.
Why not ask your Cit dealer for a replacement price?
At least that will give you a base line to work from if you then choose some other supplier.
