Hi there, I have a 2010 Berlingo 625 LX HDI 90. Can any tell me if a tow bar can be fitted and if there is a rear lights/electrical socket or would i need to splice into exiting wires? I cant see a plate to mount the tow bar to.
Also I'm thinking of hoking up a 15ft fibreglass speedboat (4 seater) with 70hp outboard on a 6.5m non breaking trailer. Does anyone know if my Berlindo has the power to pull it?
Any help would be great, thanks forum members.

Hi,
Looking at some pictures of towbars, it looks like it bolts onto the rear quarter under the bumper at the sides.
I seem to remember some posts on here about a existing plug to connect to inside the rear side panel, also a fuse to be added to the fuse box to activate the live on the plug.
Sorry so vague this is only from memory , I've not fitted one myself.
I have one on my 08 with a detachable swan neck fitted by the original owner but I've never used it .
Hopefully one of the more knowledgeable guys will be along to chip in.

You can fit a towbar onto the Berlingo quite easily.
There are loads to choose from on eBay , doesn’t usually take more than an hour to fit the bar.
Wiring it up though is a different matter. If you get a genuine Citroen wiring kit, they fit beautifully as you would expect, but they are expensive.
Alternatively you can wire into the existing loom using a bypass relay, this is vital, or you will cause a lot of issues with the cars bsi unit.
You need to decide if you think you can do the job, it is not particularly simple.
Personally I would probably just phone around and get a professional to fit it.
There are plenty of mobile guys around , and they will have it on & working whilst us mere mortals are unpacking the instruction papers.
