Clutch cable mounting plate?

Took this off in haste whilst changing the clutch cable and now cant remember its orientation at all.

That way up looks good to me it does after all support the cable and prevents it from falling ( onto the driveshaft if I recall from a few years back ).

If you fail to fit it the car won't explode jus rerout the whole cable to give the smoothest and easyiest route to the actuating lever - over the top towards the wing is good - and you'll find the clutch becomes lighter to press.

Mines hydraulic mate, how come you've an M59 with a cable clutch?
