Berlingo Charcoal Canister help!

I’m chasing a replacement charcoal canister for my 06 berlingo, I live Australia and it’s a real pain to track such a part down, I’ve managed to find an 07 model at a wreckers however the bloke selling parts says his 07 petrol model doesn’t have a charcoal canister fitted. Can anyone confirm that Citroen stopped fitting or removed the charcoal canister from their newer models? Finding info on this in seeming hard!
And can anyone help with getting a 2nd hand charcoal canister? 
I can always get brand new shipped from Europe but the prices are steep.

Do you have to fit one mate? I'd pipe it out, doesn't do much but absorb vapours.
