Hi ive noticed a leak on power steering , it seems to be the bottom pipe on the steering pinion valve that goes onto the rack , it looks like its weeping out of the treads . Ive tried to tighten it but its very awkward to get on the nut , if it doesnt tighten will it be the pipe nut thats at fault of the threads on the pinion valve which would need replacing ? Many thanks for your time

Sorry can't offer much advice, but maybe clean it off with brake cleaner and then check it in a couple of days to see if you can deffo confirm the culprit. Also it may help to get a cheap brake pipe spanner and bend it to suit in a vice. Lastly deffo don't use an open end of a normal spanner as this is just asking to round them off.
Hi, I had an old berlingo that leaked like a politician in a coalition.
I used a bottle of repair stuff from ebay and it worked a treat (over 12 months then I got rid of the vehicle).
