So Ive managed to crack the long black plastic handle/trim by the tailgate switch above the number plate as I thought I'd unlocked the car and tried to open the tailgate when it was still locked......grrrrr!
So does anybody know if this trim is available online or do I have to contact the main stealers?

This piece is fragile. I have done the same to mine - grrrr!
After checking stealers prices (that's the right word here. Really!) and scouring the Bay for a replacement, I decided to fix mine the cheap way.
I cut an aluminium shape to go across the break, carefully formed it to blend with the slight curve of the plastic, and used 3M double sided tape to hold it in place. It looks decorative and brightens up the tailgate. It cost me nothing.
I also now make a habit of just squeezing the catch until i hear it release, then move my hand to one side where the plastic is much stronger to pull the tailgate open. Pics later if you want them.

Good job there, I've done a fair bit of soldering iron plastic bumper repairs and it works really well huh. Nice job!

Not the Berlingo but years ago I repaired mine on my Nissan van with a thin scraper/spreader and a hot air gun.
So where does this bit go then ?
