I'm a great fan of my 2014 VTR Airdream, but know nothing about technical matters, though I can recognise when the windscreen needs cleaning.
Has anyone had a dashcam hardwire fitted by Halfords? I was thinking of getting a Nextbase 512 GW and wondered if they are any good at fitting them? And are there any drawbacks? Apart from my own driving being recorded for criticism...

I never realised Halford's done such technical work there or even had staff that could do work
Also if it was my pride and joy Halfords would be the last people i would let loose on it ;-) When they fit it will this be to a permanent live or just off the back of the lighter socket that gets switched off by the BSI when it goes into energy saving mode.

Oh dear. Perhaps I'll ask my Citroen main dealer about it.

Have a look around at independents in your area the professional companies have the proper kit and do a good job for a fare price. I usually get my aircon serviced in the spring or winter when they have offers on and it takes about an hour. Ive used in the past ATS tyremasters and Formula 1 to name two. Don't forget to replace your pollen filter regularly as its not replaced at service intervals at many main dealers.
Are we there yet?????
