Yes you pay for the diag then if the work is warranty the diag gets refunded as the whole job is warranty.
If they do the diag and they find no warranty claim you get no refund and have to pay for any repairs

Yeah, probably best to get the work done then challenge the bill. In the mean time, check up on your rights about taking your car away before paying a disputed repair bill.

I have a 16 plate that has been used as a taxi i had a recall on blue filler cap which now has a breather integrated in to it whereas the old one did not. We cant be 100% sure if it did cause a problem because my pump ran dry at 125K and i required a new tank/pump unit at £195. So far its another 100K on and still seems to be running well probably due a refill in the next 20k. I always use adblue from morrisons 10 litres at a time and never have any issues there either. Cant say i have any problems that seem to be mentioned here.

Hi to all! I own a Berlingo 1.6 BlueHDI 120 hp and few days ago I've received the Engine fault... error code. I've checked it and the reader showed 2 error codes: P20E9 and P0421. Does anyone had this error before. The first mechanic said is something relsted to the AdBlue system and that is better to go to Citroen. I have an appointment in one week but till then I want to get some knowledge about the issue. Few people said that it can be the AdBlue tank. Does anyone knows the part number or has a part list which he can share? Thank you in advance. After the appointment I will come back with the results.

Just had my new tank fitted today (Southampton Citroen did not eventually charge for diagnostics, and all costs covered by warranty).
I was told problem relates to internal level sensor giving a false reading, new tank has a modified part.
Sorry I can’t provide a part number but I’m thankful fault is now cleared!
