Dip beam level adjustment motor
#1
Recently noticed that when my '04 Berlingo headlights are on dip , with level adjuster switch set to 0 , the adjuster motor constantly runs ( only noticeable with engine off ).
Only way to stop it is to move the adjuster switch to position 1 ( problem then is dip beam is lower ) .
Any suggestions ?

Check if something is stopping the light from reaching it's resting position and activating a limit ?
So where does this bit go then ?

I have had this on two of the three 'lingos I have and it was cured by replacing the level switch. Easy to get hold of but I don't know how much a new one might be.

Thanks for that - how do you get the level switch out ?

Hiya, sorry for the late response..

The rotary switch just pops out, if you can get your hand up behind it, it is easier to get out, small bladed screwdriver from the front will do it though.. simple job once you've done it.. Good luck.

Managed to prise the switch out , but the wiring stops it short , so l can't reach the plug to disconnect it - any suggestions ?
How can I remove the dash section it is fitted to , so I can access the wiring to the switch ?
