I've recently bought a five year old Berlingo Multispace XTR and am very happy with it apart from if I'm sat in it listening to the stereo or charging my phone it goes off after a few minutes - power saving or something is mentioned in the owners handbook.
Does anyone know how to de-activate this? In all the other cars I've had I can leave the ignition on all night (if I'm sleeping in it) so as to be able to charge my phone and have never had any battery issues.

It's a power save function
I believe it can be adjusted with a diagnostic gadget that plugs into the green glovebox socket
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

Yes, the timeout can be extended to 60 min using a Lexia or Diagbox. I looked it up when I had a Lexia years ago and found the menu item.

Is there still a fuse position for the accessory point that makes it permanently live for charging purposes ?
So where does this bit go then ?

Surely I don't need an electronic box to do this? Who buys one of these?

You if you want to adjust how long your power stays on.
There are a number of members who have these. Ask the question, I'm sure somebody in your area will have one and would be willing to help.

I changed mine yesterday from the standard 30 mins to 60, it's in the BSI settings and will need Lexia / Diagbox. By the looks of things the timeout can be extended way beyond 60 as there were about 10 digit positions for the amount of minutes.
