[Warning Light] Passenger seat airbag disable

Has anyone fitted alternative seats that don't have airbags to their M59? I have a tip&fold seat from a van that I'd like to use but it has no airbags so there's nowhere for the connector under the seat to plug in.
I've read elsewhere & on here about using a resistor for testing purposes, but has anyone done this or similar for a permanent fix?

Seems that you can also disable the airbags via Lexia.
