Airbag Light
#1
I've been tracing a wiring fault with my airbag today.

I have a reading of 12ohm if I measure from the airbag control module plug, but 3.1ohm across the airbag when it's removed.

I'm guessing this points towards a faulty clockspring cable.

I've got the MOT next week and it needs to pass. I doubt I'll get chance to get / afford a replacement comm unit before the MOT.

Has anyone tried an airbag bypass resistor to trick the airbag module?

I appreciate this isn't the correct fix and it's dangerous, but I accept this.
