Shame there are no first hand experiences, but maybe there's a reason for that too.

I can see which way the wind is blowing and as it's my first MOT on this car I won't be throwing caution into it. Smile

Who said there are no first hand experiences i have plenty - ive told you keep away and that goes from any quick fit type place.

Take it in and i do hope all is well and it may be the first time you use them but keep it up and you will find out what they are capable of when the till is empty.

Care to say why?

No

Lets just say they were over the moon with the last mot revamp.

Not exactly what I'd describe as first hand experience of a Halfords MOT. I do take your point about what could happen in some places. There is for sure no such thing as a free lunch.
