Water leak ..
#1
I have an inevitable leak into the passenger footwell,
Is there a common place it comes in, Confused
The carpet is out and the foam was sodden,

Worst case I will put a 1mm slot in the footwell where the water had come down.. Wink

If its not antifreeze and not the heater matrix?

Then the first place to start is cleaning out the scuttle - you will need to remove the wiper arms and remove the plastic grills. They get full of leaves and block the drain holes so water comes into the cab.

If its non of those things and i have found this - remove the driver and passenger seats pull the carpet back and get swambo to put the hose on the vehicle whilst you lie with your head under the footwells.

Luckily not anti freeze.. Tongue
it was clean like spring water..I doubt it's a spring thou.. Big Grin

There is some steel work above the carpet (there out)
And it looks like the water has come past that,

Will have a look in the scuttle,
I imagine the water is appearing somewhere other than where it's getting in..

Ok no antifreeze ;-) check the scuttle but i have also known where the bulkhead is spot welded they can warp and if not sealed they can p*** in - i have used flash band in the past to seal them from the inside.

I've found a puddle in the scuttle area,
In front of the steering wheel...

This was around half a cupfull, I imagine more could collect then it may work its way into the car..

I've put a 10mm hole at the front and it drains nicely..
