Hello all.
I am looking for the name, or better yet a place I can get a replacement sliding door guide. The plastic bit in the b pillar that the spike bit on the door locates in. Mine has now died and fallen out.
As a picture is worth a thousand words it is the black plastic square thing with a hole in. There are two on the pillar.
It's a 2001 1.9d with 322,500 k on the clock.

I suspect its a dealer only part as second hand ones will be worn out by now.
Its a sliding door locating pin and guide bush you are looking for.

The hard bit is finding the right one, the one on mine is a square shape with the round hole for the pin. Was hoping to find one on line so I can save time. All I find are a different shape.

Found them.....I love the Internet. In Estonia of all places! Local dealer said they could not get any! I suspect could not be bothered to try.

I also love it when dealers have the parts diagram so you can actually get the right part.

That bit is to locate the door as it shuts, door locator set, guide and pin. If anybody has them now they will be old stock, probably easier to find in a scrapyard. If it's damaged your door must be out of alignment and probably needs adjusting.
So where does this bit go then ?
