So.. French springs..

I've removed the drivers door handles,and door stay 
and there are 3 snapped springs..
Can't the French make springs..

MBK previously motobecane now owned by Yamaha make scooters and small motorcycles I believe.

I think Peugeot scooters are now made in China.

I thought Berlingo/Partner for Western Europe were made in Vigo Spain.

I've had 2 front suspension springs break but the recovery truck driver said its a fairly common problem and affects almost all brands of cars.

That's right Matt its very common on modern vehicles - thinner springs under tension 24/7

I've also had a rear spring go on my 08 b9 , I had put it down to a combination of cold temperatures / age of spring and the bad conditions of the roads.
