Getting behind driver side glove box

So there is something stuck behind the dash, somewhere behind the Speedo and what seems like under the drivers glove box. It hits something when under acceleration,  braking and cornering. As you can understand it's bloody annoying.

How can I gain access behind the instruments panel to try and find this thing, whatever it is.

I know that in the older models the speedo panel comes out , not sure about yours.
