Remote locking issue

Can anyone help please? My 2003 multispace HDi central picking works fine manually using the key however it no longer works remotely 

I am a “ button pressed” and from reading various posts I think I have caused it to forget that it has denote faculty by pressing buttons when in pocket and out of range of vehicle

When pressing the button now it neither locks or unlocks 

When locking manually it no longer flashes the indicators

I have tried recsyncronising the key using the steps in various forums and also recsetting the BSi
Please can anytone help

Have you changed the battery in the fob ? Have you another fob you can try and see what happens ?

Yes batter been changed twice Incase was duff battery
Had another fob and no that doesn’t work either though I didn’t expect it to as was from another car
As said the indicators no longer flash at all even when locking manually and I can’t recall if did before the remote ceased working

Yes I changed battery twice Incase replacement was due
I have another fob from another vehicle which didn’t work which I was not surprised at since it was not from my vehicle
I tried all the re syncing procedures for that key but didn’t work
