Coolant leak

Hi all just wondered if someone could shed some light as to why coolant has poured from a small hole within a bigger hole on front of engine head..it seems like a cap of some description has come loose and fell out..any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the Forum, do you have a photograph of the leak and some more information such as engine size and type plus vehicle age etc as it helps folks get to grips with your issue.
