Hi
I have a problem with my abs warning light not showing at switch on.
Is there anyone out there who could possibly give me some advice on where to look first.
Would anyone have wiring diagram of abs system on 2005 Partner 2lt HDi combi.
Thanks

Assuming it does have ABS (probably will have) the first check would be the bulb for the warning light as Facom suggests.

ABS ??? ..... try looking behind the wheels for an ABS sensor and cable, if there it will either point at a wheel bearing or a reluctor ring on the driveshaft.
Checking bulbs if present is a big job, mostly now bulbs are replaced with an LED solderedt a circuit board, check for a sensor is easy quick and cheap / free.

Yes you're right I believe the bulbs aren't bulbs but LED's.

Hi
I am not sure if it ever did because I have never really noticed because it only appears for seconds and then goes out this is what I have found out from other people. So if you don't look at the dash straight away before starting then it is something you would not notice.
You would on the other hand notice it if it came on whilst driving.
I have checked the one and only fuse listed in my manual No 3 in the engine fuse box 10amp.
Are there any others I should check?.

I don't know of any other fuses than the one you mention.
I've read of a relay somewhere for the ABS but not sure where.
I think you may need to have a diagnostic reading to see if there are any fault codes.

Thanks JJ9
Could it be possible that there is a wiring fault and are there any members who could help me with a wiring diagram.
My car is going for its intermediate service tomorrow to my local garage and the mechanic said that he would give it a diagnostic check.
I don't know if he has the correct gear but he has said that if he can't read with his then he maybe able to borrow the right gear.
Will let you know the outcome.
