Engine misfire, 1.9

Hi, well after the getting through the mot I loaned the van to a family member and on its return it developed a misfire, I suspect a injector fault but I haven't done any pre testing yet. Does the 1.9 Diesel engine just have the one fuel pump, it's not hid or the turbo version .any ideas

Yes just a single pump - you can get a injector fault but its unusual its only happened since you loaned it someone. Try some decent diesel and some Millers injector cleaner and NEVER lend anyone anything ever.
