Can you set the date and time on the dash display without having the factory stereo unit fitted ?
I have fitted an aftermarket stereo unit and disconnected the battery the other day to do some work on my berlingo and im just asking before have to go a pull my stereo out and plug the original in just to set the them.

Hi,
I've just finished my stereo upgrade and after much (much!) deliberation, I came to the conclusion you have to spend money to fix this issue! I bought a CTSPG007.2 lead from ebay (£36), which links between the Berlingo original wiring and the stereo and gives you the date changing capability back for the stalk.
Look, I genuinely hate spending cash on "fitting extras" when doing a radio/etc installation, but..... it works a treat and I can do everything with the stalk that I could when the original (dreadful) stereo was fitted.
Hope you get it sorted.
