How to test Stop Solenoid

Guys how do you test a three wire stop solenoid, I have removed it of the armoured casing..No click

3 wire ones are dual coil aint they ? pull coil and holding coil, so a common wire and a wire to each coil

I want to test it using a battery or something, cause advise given i don't understand.There are three wires as the image...which is which

you would need an ohm meter to find which wire goes where, does it click if you turn the ignition on ?
