It was a while ago.

.I jacked the box up on a flat piece of wood,
then added other pieces under it ,
to lift the box into a position to get the shaft into the flywheel ..

it seemed to go quite well.. Rolleyes

(I may have forgotten any particular problem with re fitting..) Confused

No worries, thanks for the reply.

I nearly managed to rotate the diff up into its stupidly small gap but just needed another pair or hands to push the jack in a bit while I rotated.

I will try again with my brother helping in a few days!

This is also from memory as I didn't find refitting that difficult. Have you taken the "spike" off the top of the box that is used as the upper gearbox mount? It gives you a lot more space with that thing poking about the place.

Yes I took that off to help removal. It is just getting that diff up into the gap.

So frustrating not being able to wrap it up. Got to wait few days for my brother. Kudos to anyone that has managed on their own!

Got it done. Undid 1 extra 13mm from the diff that gave a little more space. Along with a helper that made all the difference.

The gearbox is all wrapped up just need to test it. Activated cruise control today. I'll test both tomorrow...not sure on the cruise working with my loom but worth a shot
