Parts identification help please!!

Greetings

Requesting some help on identifying a couple of bits....

I have a 54plate 600D Berlingo. Purchased with clutch failure. Doing bits and fixing when time allows.

I’ve replaced the clutch so far and am now putting it back together. Unfortunately I started the job a while back and my memory of the process is a little hazy and I have a couple of queries....

1. Sadly my patience occasionally wears thin and my ham fists get in the way and I may have broken part of the breather system on removing the box. Can anyone tell me where the pipe in image attaches? 

2. Could someone tell me the identity of the bearing (or bearing cap) in the picture and where the bearing is located? Driveshaft area somewhere but I’m not clear on exactly where and the orientation as it must have ejected itself on removal

That pipe looks like it may come from the diesel filter? And the bearing shell is what the diff bearing runs on, either side of the diff. No idea how that would have come out!

Edit: the bearing shell, did you take the rear part of the diff housing off and the shell fell out?
